Provides a variety of services on information on bands, labels, information, resources and more. Suzanne Glass - Founder, President started this site as a project. She still collects all the information and programs the site by hand. She began as a musician, and expanded into studio ownership, founding an independent label, management, PR, production, CD replication... whatever it took to make a living. She ditched her day job in 1997 to pursue music full time. Indie-Music.com was founded in late 1996. Recently she has been attending music conferences all over the USA as a panellist.

The Liverpool Institute For Performing Arts
This institution is a result of Sir Paul McCartney's wish to see his old school brought back to life after it had been abandoned. McCartney's initially intended only to save the building, but as things developed, the idea arose to turn it into an institute for performing arts. The Institute opened in 1996, since when several hundred students have already graduated within various fields of arts and entertainment. LIPA offers courses in Performing Arts, Sound Technology, Acting, Dance, Management, Music and more. Terry Young considers the Institute to be unique in its kind, and strongly recommends it to anyone who has serious plans for a career in music or entertainment.
